Who We Are

We are a not-for-profit association founded by members committed to improving executive gender-balance and sharing best practice with the wider community.

Our History

25x25 Limited Cover

25x25 was launched in November 2021 as a result of a survey undertaken with over 200 corporations (including 90% of the FTSE100) on the extremely low number of women CEOs and organisational leaders. The feedback from Chairs, CEOs and equivalents, Chief People Officers/Chief Human Resources Officers and other experts led to the creation of the 25x25 Framework, a set of best practice processes and procedures on Succession and Talent Planning. The support infrastructure is funded by members to develop data analytics tools and sharing of best practices among the wider business community. The Interactive Framework Tool, our first, is a self-assessment tool which allows organisations to assess how robust their Succession and Talent Planning processes are.

Leadership

Our research shows that changes in culture are driven by leadership commitment, not the overall number of women in an organisation. To become a member, the CEO or equivalent must take accountability.

Accountability & Targets

The 25x25 Framework doesn’t establish blanket targets. Members are encouraged to set their own targets or levels of ambition to achieve their aims.

Community
